When I first began exploring the tarot, I longed for a botanical deck that reflected my love of green and growing things. But I didn’t just want cards with images of flowers. I wanted a deck that connected each step in the story of The Fool to corresponding flora found in nature. I wanted something that thoughtfully considered the magical associations, medicinal properties, and practical observations of these plants. I wanted something that felt textured and authentic. And I wanted a book of interpretations written by someone who’d formed their own unique relationship with the cards.

I couldn’t find one. So I made my own.

Crafted from over 3,000 real flora, the Pressed Flower Tarot invites you into a world of romantic roses, hapless poppies, and cheeky little buttercups. Accompany them on their various journeys, and through their eyes, explore the experiences we all share as we strive–again and again–to attain purpose, love, truth, and safety.

The Pressed Flower Tarot features the classic 78 cards found in a Rider-Waite-Smith deck, as well as an additional card, XXII: The Fool Again, invented by me.
